Thanks for asking about the papers @NatureLover it made me get a folder out of the box and shred some. I think I'll be able to move forward on them again now.
I'll have a look at another box or two of books. It would be good to be able to fill another box for the opshop, as then I'd have enough to justify another trip.
I'd like to get into the garden again soon. It will be something to look forward to in a couple of days.

I took 3 boxes of stuff to the opshop today then bought some plants on the way back. I haven't planted them yet but spent an hour in the backyard preparing. So it should feel like a good day. However the stuff I'm keeping or have set aside to reconsider is mounting so I'll shuffle some of it back into boxes again. It's definitely diminishing though... it has to be. I'm expecting to retrieve more stuff from off site tomorrow. It's an uphill battle.
Hope your journeys are going ok @NatureLover @EternalFlower .

3 boxes - that's great! @Dimity 👍
I like how you bought some plants as a reward 🙂
I think it's OK to go through certain stuff again and again, reducing each time.
How much stuff do you have offsite?
Good luck today - I think you're doing really well.

I have a LOT offsite @NatureLover . My rooms were chock-a-block when I had it all here. I need to deal with it and resolve the tricky arrangement I have re storing and accessing it, which was predicated on a possible move.
I'm trying to help a level 5 hoarder at the moment. There but for the grace of God etc.

Oh gosh, a level 5 hoarder? That's so kind of you, @Dimity
Sorry to hear how much you still have offsite 😞 It must weight on your mind. I know the 30 boxes in my shed do.
But you seem to be making good steady progress through it all...

I’m about to go away for a week and a bit. And the near overflow in both freezers has reached crisis point. Sooo…. We’ve made s solemn pact to eat only from the existing stores in the fridge and freezers. Minimal groceries if you don’t mind. And we were doing very well. And then went out and bought takeaway last night. 😊

I've lost track too! I'm relieved that my friend is no longer coming to help me, as that work was tough for me and I did it all summer. Now I've run out of puff.
Hoping that if you're having a break from the decluttering, that you'll come back to it with more energy @Dimity

You did well to last the summer @NatureLover . Maybe you'll find cooler days when you're cosy inside can also be conducive to slowly and thoughtfully looking at a box or two.
My progress has stalled for now, I'm not up to it atm. My helper came today but we just talked. I appreciate her support but it's expensive so I want to make the most of her time.
