Something’s not right

Re: My special place

Thanks @Captain24

Just taken some meds to try and help a bit and having cuddles with the dog.

How are you going?

Re: My special place

Hi @Snowie,

I really hope you are okay. I can imagine how difficult going to the GP may have been for both you and your mum.

Sending you hugs and understanding,

FloatingFeather ❤️

Re: My special place

Sitting with you @Snowie .

Sending warm, positive wishes to you and your family

Re: My special place

Thank you everyone.

D at work and S is in his room.

H has gone away for the weekend, not back till Monday. I didn't feel comfortable with him going but after everything he has done lately, he deserved time away with the boys.

Doctors with my mum went well. Got some more answers and was able to ask some questions that she wouldn't have. Still more testing to be done the next few weeks. See's the specialist in about in a months time, which she wants me to go with her.

My thoughts haven't been great this afternoon/evening. I came out of hospital feeling so good, and it has gone downhill so quickly. I now wonder if going in was worth it in the first place.

Just trying to concentrate on one thing at a time tonight.

Re: My special place

@Snowie, I’m sorry to hear it’s been so hard, hun. It feel like sometimes we feel we are getting worse when we are experiencing growing pains. You are growing as a person, I know things seem bleak right now, healing can f***ing hurt. Take it slow. Sitting with you 💖🫂

Re: My special place

Sorry that things have been going downhill since you got out of hospital @Snowie  😞

That was good of you to do the difficult thing of going to your mother's appt with her...will she require a lot of that, going forward?

Sending hugs...

Re: My special place

.. is that s 'thing' re letdown  @Snowie  I suspect it might be. Is there someone you can talk to ?

Re: My special place

Thanks @TAB @NatureLover @creative_writer

@TAB I see my psych next Tuesday, which has been a long time coming. I had to cancel a few appointments because of my admission but hoping I am back on track now of seeing her fortnightly.

I had a really good sleep last night. Not sure if it was because of my extra meds, but I don't care, will take it as a win. Dog even let me sleep in a bit!!

Have a few things to get done on the list today. Biggest one is D has to go to the RCH for some follow up tests. I have been there plenty of times before but really hate going there. There is so much sickness around and it just eats away at your soul. Hoping the appointment doesn't go for too long. Will take some prn with me if I need it.

Re: My special place

yeah childrens hospitals is something I struggle with @Snowie  well from coins in throat to cancer not much fun

However, I went to hosp a few times as kid, I loved it. I could have lived there. lol

had hernia op age 4 or something had broken leg, tonsils a few years later, ok didnt enjoy getting bathed, think was there for 2 days at least. creepy old guy in like the neighbor on Family Guy in bed next to me said he had his done in a barbers chair, its gone back around to that now lol. Hospital I went to for tonsils in small country town closed a few years later. old people used to live there, would be out on the verandah in wicker chairs with blankets over them, dying I guess. At least they had something to look at and were comfy 😁

I just assumed after the rush of getting home would be a let down after, MH or no MH @Snowie  anyway ... just let people know whats going on I guess and .. Take it easy ..
