I know you mentioned your blood pressure a few posts back @Shaz51 if that is of any help.
It is hard to get a balance, having ones head in the sand is not productive either.
Carers counseling session went OK, encouraged to continue with healthy lifestyle changes that we have begun to help keep moving stress to a minimum.

I know that mood all too well @Shaz51 although I probably felt it a little more than Mr Darcy - it was my own needs that I neglected when funds were short. I always made sure that Mr Ds needs were taken care of (but he does not have expensive hobbies).
I did did live in a very poor country for a while Shaz so material things are not so important to me and even though we are in a very low income range we are still so very blessed.
We could not afford the needed renovations at our old home which did concern me. I never mentioned it to Mr D as he already has enough guilt as to the impact his MI has had. By downsizing we have a much better house with some capital to spare that we have put aside for necessary but non urgent renovations.

March flies = 😵
We have a baby blue tongue in our yard ... am concerned as to whether it can co exist with the dog. Have moved it out the front but it has reappeared out the back.
