yes we get a rebate from the government of about $2200. The system is 6.6kw because we have single phase power so that’s the biggest we can go and it’s costing us $4,790 through Solargain. It’s getting installed halfway through November

I am busy baking lemon cake.

It’s in the oven now.

Later hubby is going to cook orange and almond cake and I am going to take some of each to a Church thing tomorrow night.

@Oaktree My evening was quite nice thanks   We webt to a local Italian place that is really nice and had a yummy dinner.  Bruchetta and some spaghetti carbonara.

I could almost smell that cake when you said it was in the oven.  Orange and almond cake sounds so good as well.  A house where 2 people bake cakes... sounds like my sort of place! 😁  I look forward to drawling over the photos. 🤣

Sad news,

Lemon cake number 1 burnt because my daughter had turned the oven to grill and didn’t switch it back. Usually I don’t have to worry about that so I didn’t check it!

@Oaktree Oh well, these things happen.  I can't say I was expecting a Stripes reference though.  Is that where the name Oaktree comes from?
