Re: My Place

@tyme @MJG017

Here is the painting I sold to Murdoch University for $250. It is called Warkaal in the Nebula. It was an attempt to bring Aboriginal dreaming together with my more scientific side.

@moderator the painting is signed in my Aboriginal name and cannot be traced.

Re: My Place

@Oaktree that is amazing

Re: My Place

Incredible @Oaktree ! I'm in awe. Wow. Thank you so much for sharing. So so powerful.

Re: My Place

@tyme

I sign all my paintings in my Aboriginal name. I don’t even have pictures of them. I give them all away.

Re: My Place

It would be great to take pics of any future paintings (if you want). I think art tells a story about our lives and it changes and we grow and learn @Oaktree

@tyme

I wish I had a picture of the Willly Wagtail (Djidi Djidi) that I did but I no longer have contact with the Aboriginal elder that I gave it to

Re: My Place

The artwork is so rich and has so much meaning @Oaktree

I look forward to seeing any others in the future 🙂

I never knew you love painting and that you weave Culture into it.
