Well mate, I have to tell you, I would rather be here in hospital than trembling in the dentists chair.
They like to scratch around those dentists and my little brain starts thinking they are just setting up the next job for themselves. Take a baseball bat, They scratch... you swing... good luck
n good night @Oaktree .. tonys

@Oaktree Just wondering how you were going. Tooth ache is no good. Not sure exactly what is going on with yours.
I have a large gap between 2 teeth that aches badly when food gets caught, but is fine when I manage to clean it out by flossing. It has been the same for over a year. I am getting used to managing it.
It was lovely to hear you are planning a trip.

Dear @tonys
Just thought that I would put a letter in your mailbox. How are you? How much longer will they have you cooped up in that hospital? You must be missing the farm and your friend the book keeper.
I am on a respite trip until Thursday in a little seaside town down south of Perth. We are going whale watching tomorrow. That should be fun. Hopefully we will actually see a whale!
Have you got a magazine to read? I am assuming that you learnt to read? Not everyone can. I was watching a show about Jay Blades. He’s a restorer on the Repair Shop in the UK. Well he can’t read and he was learning at 51 how to. It must be difficult going through life not knowing how to read. He has done well considering.
My garden is growing well. I have my first cucumbers growing, it will be exciting when I can eat one. I ate lettuce out of the garden for dinner on Thursday. Made a nice salad. Just bought tomatoes and cucumber to go with the home grown lettuce. I was pretty proud of that salad and it tasted good too.
Have you got any interesting gossip off the Nurses there? I bet you are keeping them on their toes. I hope that the food is okay.I guess after you have spent time on the streets that even hospital food is lux.
Anyway I miss you,
sending you huge hugs and homemade scones with jam and cream.
Meggle

Awe, thats so nice of you @Oaktree. A letter just for me.. That sounds lovely, your forthcoming adventure. Little meander, through scenic green hills to watch whales attempting flight. I know you'll enjoy every minut, and come back re energised. Still be in here a while I think Meggle, They haven't said much. Either they've upped the IV or I'm actually feeling a bit better. Oh the Book keeper, she took a room near the hospital but they have let her stay in here the odd night too. Makes their load a bit lighter I guess. I gripe every month about the bill but with my upkeep I need private cover. So yes, the food , care, well, everything is incredible. Think my rooms become the nurses hiddy hole gossip spot. There in here a lot, phones giggles n jokes. Kids hey.
I never had any. Was I ever that innocent. Maybe when I dreamt once.
Yep, I have mags n comics, but mostly I do a little writing and play my harmonica when out of earshot. Rn likes it though. we have little sing n poetry sessions. Think I might be her new hobby.
Tell you what though. You tube is like Uni hey. I love it. Appleblossom sends me links about phycology and the mind etc. could be a hint. . . but there fascinating. I soon should be fully qualified to analyse my self, and have my self committed without the expense.
Oh yes Meggle. I can read n wright, but your right, I didnt learn till I was around 30 I think. But thats a story too long for here. Just one more benefit of sleeping on newspapers. After years, One day you just take an
interest in the hieroglyphic's. Mate .. you and that garden. move over Costa..! Hope you can post pics of your trip. Well only if you want too.
Scones, OH Meggle , you know me too well.. Back in the day, every rubbish bin was a banquette. I'm in heaven with the food here.. But in the time line of our lives, all things are relative.
To forget the sheer joy I felt when the child me, found an un nibbled, whole Boston bun in a trash can
one long ago, cold night, . . well god help me never forget that joy, cause for a fella like me, it would be fatal .. Keep your good pictures close to your heart.
and thanks so much for your lovely letter.. bye Meggle..
