Coronation Party

Re: Coronation Party

Just looking now.  I like that the blanket stitch on the king's cloak has a homemade look.

Princess Margaret is regal and Camilla lovely.

Re: Coronation Party

They do all look so fancy and regal! @Eve7   Some of them would be rather uncomfortable to sit in though!

Re: Coronation Party

Very uncomfortable @Bow  and the crown weighs more than 2kgs!!

Re: Coronation Party

Yes @Eve7 We went to the Tower of London on the day that we arrived in london and remember seeing the crowns, swords and such. Photos were strictly prohibited!

Re: Coronation Party

We went to a service at Westminster Abbey @Bow Such a magnificent building and I had communion from the good silver.

Charles and Camilla look exhausted.

Re: Coronation Party

I’d be exhausted too @Eve7 !!

we only got to see the outside of it, magnificent buildings…. So many magnificent buildings around London.

im sure all the songs have meaning but I wish they didn’t need to sing so much. Just get the important stuff done. Can hardly understand what they are singing anyways….  Wonder if they realise that??!?!

I loved that gospel group in white. They were joyful!

Re: Coronation Party

Hahaha @Bow. I’m use to all the hymns and I know all the responses. I’ve been to mass a lot!

Re: Coronation Party

The choral singing is sublime.

@Oaktree @Bow @Captain24 @tyme @Eve7 @Shaz51

Oh dear Princess Margaret passed 20 years ago.

Re: Coronation Party

They could at least put the words across the bottom of the screen so we know what they are singing @Captain24 !

@Oaktree  yes they were good eh!
