Yes @Appleblossom
Balance is so important with the real world and our reality.
Fun is so often missing in the real world in particular when you have a history of mental health symptoms.
Those of us with these struggles often work very hard to keep the unwell mind side of us hidden.
This takes up so much energy and others who judge us have not a clue of what strength we actually have.
So fun I long for. I have found some with other Carers in my Carer group. A part of my life where I feel safer.
Fun and letting go does need practice.
Fun is good for the soul.
This thread is helping me so much in keeping the dreaded depression at bay.
Eeyore has expressed this also.
I hope that you too can gain something no matter how small.
What is gained will be different for each of us.
I hope that this response is not too long for you my friend @Appleblossom 💚

Welcome @Flax
I love puddy tats.
I have only one left, the other two have left this world; at the same time are always with me.
I have created a special sanctuary for them in a corner of my garden. There is a tree there and I have planted some flowering plants.
A broken pot which one of my past cats had something to do with, rests on top of the area surrounded with stones.
Would you believe that the plant that was in that pot when cat was still with me is still alive.
It is my strong love that keeps the plant alive as there is little soil left from when the pot broke. I talk to my cats when I visit that area and my remaining cat checks in there every now and again sniffing the pot.
My cats know how important they are to me and the love between us will stay with us all.
French and italian makes a very interesting cat.
My first husband was italian. I studied italian at night school briefly as working full-time and then pregnant with my first son was too tiring to travel quite a distance after work to continue the study. I loved it and was top of the class. A great feeling for me.
Now I muddle up the french with the italian and I also studied Latin for four years.
Italian, french and Latin combined make one very different language.
This is Sophia's language that she has created.
Sooty is a clever name for a cat the colour a result of the cat exploring a chimney; re-emerging a different colour to when he was born.
Take your time on this thread, read along when you want and contribute when you want in your way.
We each bring our own style which makes the story telling so much more interesting than just me rabbitting on.
Sorry White Rabbit.
Look forward to a visit from yourself @Flax and @HenryX

Tigger has written another story but is feeling tired from talking too much on here.
Tigger will wait for one or more or all of his friends to write to him.
Listening is a great skill to have.
I am more a listener than talker in real life.
This probably comes as a surprise.
Hence I can get a word in on the forums.

Dear friends
Sooty goes to Tigger's hut
One day Sooty, the bilingual cat, snuck into Tigger's secret garden hut and discovered some fresh Pizzas along with Italian coffee and French cream. "Mamma mia!" purred Sooty.
Being a very honest black cat, he only took just a few nibbles but got quite excited when he spotted Tigger's European coffee machine shrouded in gossamer silk. He thought that Pooh and the gang must pop in every now and then just for coffee. Tigger is very thoughtful, so there was also English tea and scones always ready for any visitors.
Of course Pooh loves honey, so ever thoughtful Tigger has jars and jars of honey. Sooty is a scaredy cat so was hiding behind the door when Tigger told Pooh that it was specially made by Little Bee. Pooh exclaimed 'I hope its Manuka!". Tigger wasn't sure but promised to ask Little Bee when next they met.
When Sooty peeped around the door he saw Eeyore as well, contentedly sipping her coffee from a bright mug. It must be all that cream. He wondered what sort of coffee it was, indeed he couldn't quite make out the logo on the mug. "Must be a Collingwood supporter" he grumbled to himself. Sooty reflected on past glories stolen by that wretched team. "Oh well, the best team won on the day" he muses before slinking back behind the door.
Sooty thinks there might be a party one day in Tigger's secret garden where the gnomes keep everything pristine. Sooty pondered if it's a fairy garden before going back to wiping the cream from his whiskers with his little black paw. Sooty, the naughty cat, had also lapped up the creamy froth from Eeyore's coffee when no-one was watching.

Dear Friends,
Collingwood IS my team and I will hear nothing bad about them. Sure we had the Colliwobbles for some years but that curse was lifted. I have followed Collingwood for 44 years so won't be changing teams now.

@Flax Ah Hah!
Pretty good hospitality for a hut in the bush/forest!
All that white on Sooty's paw and mouth has to make one wonder ... into B&W territory.
How about some piano ... to calm ruffled fans ....

Oh dear - the first faux pas. For some reason I thought @Oaktree was a Geelong supporter. 🙊 I'm a long suffering Bomber's man. Not particularly passionate follower I'll add.
I'm heading back to read the prior threads more closely.
@Sophia1 gave me a great idea - for a cameo. Not sure if it works. A latin speaking fairy in Versace clothing
Sooty is morphing into a naughty, multilingual black cat.
Please note I am not fluent, nor even close, in other languages. Truly about 20 words is it in a few - that's where Google translator comes in handy
