Honestly, I can’t believe the pettiness of some people. I have bent over backwards for a certain family member even letting them live with me. They pay no board and rarely do any housework.
I went away for four days and had left a saucepan unwashed as they had the sink full. On my return home I commented on how they’d cleaned the kitchen and done the dishes. However, the saucepan I left was still there!
Am I wrong to think that’s petty?? I often clean their mess but they couldn’t wash one saucepan!!! It’s the little foxes the spoil the vine!!!!
I think you are absolutely right. This family member should be doing all that they can to help around the house, especially if they are living there rent free. They should be going out of their way to make it easier for you. They should be grateful that they have a roof over their head.
Some people don't know how good they've got it until its gone.
Day is almost over thank goodness. I had a rough time with pdoc with her trying to get me to identify my true feelings about my living situation. Went for a long walk after the session to try and settle myself.
Meeting with a friend tomorrow to discuss an overseas trip next year. I hope I’m doing the right thing. I’m not as young and agile as I once was.
Talked to a financial planner today and that turned out to be more positive than I expected.
Finished the day with some uni work preparing for a test tomorrow. I hope I have it all sorted.
