Welcome and getting started

Life after pshycosis

Re: Life after pshycosis

@Ashleigh2

My first Brief Psychotic Episode too years to emerge from, but I was a different person. I was heavily medicated and ended up living with my  parents again and gained a diagnosis of BP2 w. psychotic features.

I had to learn to be ok with the person I now was. I had to learn to deal with regular hallucinations (visual, audible and tactile). Its not an easy road.

The recent psychotic break has left me dazed and confused. No real change in who I am but making changes in what I allow in my life, less stress being a main one.

Some stuff comes back over time some doesnt and you have to learn to love the person you are now to fully allow yourself to heal and be all you can be.

easier said than done I know
