Suicidal thoughts

I'm 30, and all I think about is killing myself. I can't work, I can barely afford to survive on centrelink. I have no support besides a psych I see once a month. Family is trying to get me into a private mental ward and think I might have Bipolar, been severely depressed my entire life, but I don't think I

I can last till I get in. I've been told the private could reject me if I go into a public ward. I don't know what to do, I don't think life is worth living but I don't want to hurt my parents. Someone told me to try here

Hello @idkman

Welcome to the forums and thank you so much for reaching out, we appreciate your vulnerable and open sharing very much.

It sounds like things are incredibly distressing for you right now... I am really sorry to hear that you are finding access to support so challenging. You must be dealing with some very big thoughts and feelings, but please know you are not in this alone - we have a wonderful community of people who understand what this is like and can help you, okay?

I am going to send an email to you directly now to check-in, but please let me know what support you'd most like and we can start brainstorming together. 👏💛
