Life and trauma

Re: Life and trauma

I'm so sorry to hear this @Former-Member .

I encourage you to let the help you.

I've been in a similar place. It wasn't pleasant.

Just hang in there.

We are sitting with you.

Re: Life and trauma

@tyme it's definitely not pleasant. Right now I just don't want to feel anything, I'm exhausted and sore and really just feel like crap.

Thankyou, I'm trying to, I think.

Re: Life and trauma

I loved the thread you created last night @Former-Member .

What are things you enjoy doing?

Re: Life and trauma

Wow! Are they gel pens @Former-Member ?

They look awesome!

Have you ever used those pastel markers before?

Re: Life and trauma

@tyme yes they are gel pens. Thankyou. I haven't but I really like bright or sparkly colours.

Re: Life and trauma

They really look great. Have to done adult dot-to-dot before? It's pretty fun. They numbers go into the thousands, or it uses patterns and shapes.

Do you like embroidery or diamond art? @Former-Member

Re: Life and trauma

@tyme thankyou. I have done some but I lose focus on dot-to-dots. I do cross stitch, crocheting, knitting and diamond art.

Re: Life and trauma

Hi @Former-Member.  Wow...Thats a really intense thing to be told.  I'm thankful that you're still here, as I'm sure everyone here is as well.  You do seem to be putting up an amazing fight, both mentally and physically.

I know it must be totally overwhelming right now, but just try to be thankful you're still here and getting better.  Let everything else go for the moment and take some time to rest and give yourself a bit of a break from all the worries.  There's time enough to worry about it all later.

So if there's anything you want to chat about to get you mind of things, we're here with you.

Re: Life and trauma

So there are a few things you do I guess @Former-Member

Whilst in hospital, maybe it's just a time to rest and rejunvenate?
