Thats good @GezzaP I have to make everything from scratch because I follow a back to basics way of life minus additives preservatives etc due to dietary requirements. I used to eat minimal prepackaged stuff before but cant now. But I will get back to you on my DIY tacos adventure.
Just hopped out of the shower @TAB and am baking something for lunch prior to acupuncture appointment this afternoon. @GezzaP was meant to be going to the pub later today I think. She got paid her allowance. I got paid my DSP, its eased up the budget a bit. Got lawnmower man to get on the roof and clear out guttering. Was wasting time with another gutter cleaning contractor who didnt answer calls. Anyway lawnmower man arrives this afternoon
I have an iron gut can eat anything @SmilingGecko . I can’t be bothered making everything from scratch. It smells nice will keep cooking it until I get hungry - the longer the better. Have to keep an eye on it so it doesn’t dry out too much. Will cut up individual lettuce, tomato and avocado as I like them hot and fresh. Will add cheese, sour cream and pickled jalapenos. I have one at a time warm shells for 10 seconds in the microwave. Yes report hack on your version ot tacos. Have to go check on it now. Puss asleep high up in her cat tree.
@GezzaP I just cant do it anymore, but kind of prefer it that way. I like my diet I keep it simple and from scratch - it maintains my wobbly health. But your tacos sounds really nice and tasty. I can only imagine. Kitty cat is asleep on the bed. Just threw frittata in the oven. I will have some for lunch with salad and will freeze the rest to reheat for breakfasts. Keeping it for 3 days on the counter in a container means wastage so will freeze portions and reheat for breakfasts
I did not know when your payment goes through @GezzaP you will enjoy going to the pub. Theres a bistro not far from here with an open fireplace and SkyTV. I used to go prior to covid. I dont think its right just to sit there and not buy anything. I did used to go to their pokies venue at night when I had no aircon at home during hot weather and just did 1c bets so I could stay somewhere cool in stifling heat. I dont gamble but thats what the lady behind the counter told me to do so I could stay in air conditioned comfort. the bets lasted several hours. I think I only put down $10 I didnt get thrown out by security!
Yes I know you have dietary needs @SmilingGecko . I used a jalapeno from the garden yay hope it’s not too hot I took the seeds out. I hope it is yummy. Starting to get hungry. I will eat tacos for a few meals. Might freeze some we’ll see how much I use of mix. You can’t stuff the shells too much cause they break if you do. Looking forward to lunch today.
