Re: Tabaluga's

Dont worry about me @Meowmy my life is simple.

  • do bad things and expect others to fix it
  • no responsibilty
  • etc

there used to be ads for carer for carers where get people to take over for couple days while you have a break ?

Yes, you can absolutely get someone to take over caregiving responsibilities temporarily so you can have a break. This is known as respite care, and it is designed to help carers rest, recharge, and take care of their own needs. Here are the main ways to arrange this in Australia:1. Government-Supported Services (My Aged Care/NDIS)If the person you care for is elderly or has a disability, you can access subsidised care, according to My Aged Care.In-home Respite: A care worker comes to your home for a few hours, overnight, or for a weekend.Centre-based Day Respite: The person you care for goes to a day center for activities and socialising, giving you the day off.Residential Respite: The person you care for stays in an aged care facility for a few days or weeks.2. Immediate or Emergency HelpIf you need a break immediately due to illness, injury, or an emergency, you can call Carer Gateway on 1800 422 737. They can help arrange emergency care at short notice.3. Private CaregiversYou can privately hire support workers or nurses to come to your home to take over caregiving duties. While this involves costs, it can be a fast way to get help without an assessment, say Healthdirect and other experts.4. Informal Support

Re: Tabaluga's

Hello @TAB just tossed out garbage, compost and recyclables. Bin collection day tomorrow. Sitting down soon for a pot of jiaogulan tea. Then will do a Masterclass with The Moon Woman, Tanishka Tantrika on the "high heart" and moving through the world from a place of trust. I'm signed up to her newsletter and she puts out lots of free materials. Did medical qigong. Hope you have a nice day.

Re: Tabaluga's

Glad to hear you are feeling good today @SmilingGecko .

Re: Tabaluga's

I'm glad you got some sleep last night @GezzaP that is good. Do you feel like you are starting to turn the corner with your mania at all? Its not fair people with bipolar often suffer in silence due to it being a highly misunderstood illness. Would be nice if folk invested in their families and read books on bipolar or attended information sessions to educate themselves. My family consulted Encyclopedia Brittanica did not solicit information and that was it and did virtually no caretaking.
