I had been feeling a bit flat all morning and lacking the drive and motivation that I had yesterday. I struggled to get out of bed this morning, had my breakfast and have played a computer game and done a couple of small tasks but nothing huge.
I finished lunch and was talking about feeling flat and my sister goes... you know it is 2 months ago that mum passed away. BOOM, a realization that the date is 29/01/2025. Exactly 2 months from 29/11/2024 and numerology predicates that this would result in a strong link to that particular date.

i've heard a lot about how our bodies remember things our minds don't, especially when it comes to trauma, grief, loss, etc. it's such a fascinating topic.
hope you're able to go easy on yourself, and take things one small step at a time. here for you 💙

@rav3n I am taking it slowly as I don't have the drive I had yesterday. I think it is also why I woke at 4am this morning
I had been focused on the things that are here and now for the last couple days and now it seems that this one thing from the past reaches forth and grabs me !

gosh the timing of it all, it sounds quite overwhelming!! also just wanted to let you know i've added a content/trigger warning spoiler tag to your post, just to keep the community safe and prevent others from being triggered. @Arbie_wun
how are you holding up now? do you feel like you're able to get back into the 'present' okay?

@rav3n Thank you for adding that, I honestly didn't think of the trigger possibilities.
I am feeling a little better at the moment, and I think some of that was the stress eating of chocolate chip ice cream!

no worries at all @Arbie_wun
haha 'stressed' backwards is 'dessert' so chocolate chip ice-cream sounds great (and now i'm craving something sweet)!! glad you're feeling a lil better, i know with grief it does come in waves, so it's totally okay to feel those feels - always here to chat or sit by your side 💙

@rav3n ...
So do I call you Huginn or Muninn? I know you probably won't get it,but it is to do with Norse Mythology.

so i did a quick search (didn't get to read deep into it) but i see the raven connection! so one represents memory and the other thought? then i'd i would say Muninn, i have a terrible memory but i do think a lot! @Arbie_wun does that make you Huginn then (again i know nothing of Norse Mythology)

Well given that my Native American zodiac is a RAVEN, I guess we have some kind of link there!
To help you out a bit Munnin is the interest, wonder and memory RAVEN, whereas Huginn in more about awareness, comprehension and perception.

ohh that's interesting! i searched up the native american zodiac dates, and i would technically come under owl... but i love ravens, crows and the mythical phoenix!!
@Arbie_wun thanks for explaining that... now i'm not sure if i'm Muninn anymore, i relate to both equally! how about you? are you more of Muninn or Huginn?
