I have tried to engage yesterday on the Hello tread unsuccessfully. Are there ever people on this platform who wants to chat or am I using it incorrectly?
Maybe it is the season or time of day I need to get right.

What advice would you give for someone not good at ball games, but understand that life is tough and what does no harm makes you stronger and that there is always tomorrow and selflessness and humility are virtues?
if so, would you feel comfy sharing a bit more about what you're looking for? from what i gather, it seems like you're trying to be less hard on yourself and persevere - am i on the right track?
I am bruised and hurt by a lifetime of abuse and struggles and I feel that I need help.
I have no work, money, staying with friend temporarily and I feel that if I cannot find my tribe I'm lost.
Theory - a community loves you they'll want the best for you and help with life. If they don't you'll get nowhere.
Where is the community that can loves me, understands me, who wants the best for me, who'd employ me in a meaningful job role is what I need help with finding.
Could you please point me in the right direction? I am treading water and need a little help.

having that financial instability and lack of a strong social circle would make it harder, but i really appreciate that your willingness to try find it. it's a great mindset to have.

in terms of building a community - it does take time. you're already apart of this online community, you can come connect any time. as for a face-to-face community, i'm wondering if the friend you're staying with can help introduce you to more people/take you to social events? councils run free programs throughout the week that also provides an opportunity to meet new people and connect over shared interests. have a look into your local council's program and activity guide and hopefully there's something that calls to you.
How do you reboot your brain and body to rid of the sick feeling caused by fear, despair, hurt, exclusion, rejection? How do you determine what is a reasonable/realistic/rightful quest for life and what are the things you should give up on? Are we supposed to aim for the stars or keep a low profile?
