Welcome and getting started

New to everything

Re: New to everything

I think the hardest part of accessing NDIS is the idea of BPD being a 'lifelong disability'. Current research shows that many people do recover from it and with therapy, this processes is quickened. Hence it does not fall into the category of being a 'lifelong disability'.

Where people have been successful is when they have other conditions alongside BPD which are deemed to be lifelong and affect many/all functional aspects of life. e.g. communication, self-help, physical health etc.

All I can say, there's no harm in trying? @Samantha92
